Standard install includes removal of old timer, installation, and programming the new timer. Non-standard would include changing the timer location, additional sensors, and anything beyond the scope of work of a standard install that requires additional material and/or labor.
Things to check before you buy:
Know how many irrigation stations/valves you have. Models come in 6, 8, 10+ stations and generally increase in price based on the quantity of controllable stations.
Check the wifi reception in the mounting location. A stable wifi connection is required for smart timers to function properly.
Is your timer indoor or outdoor? Certain irrigation controllers are not suitable for outdoor conditions.
